We offer to you the following extract from the book, "Mary, my secret" by Florin Callerand. In the foreword of this work, Francoise Porte wrote: "Florin expresses what Mary "feels within" in such simple terms that it feels like it was confined to him from very close...

When Jesus was on the cross Mary was there with him acting as his defender!

You see her there, the Mother, listening to Jesus who cannot take any more, she watches Jesus, and she watches the guard. In watching the guard she makes him understand who is there. The captain of the guards has a mother too and when he sees this woman looking at him he wonders “What would my mother do? My mother…” Mary looks him in the eyes. Mary the defender, supporting Jesus who cannot take anymore, who is crying out in thirst…So the four soldiers who are there, all four of them together, give him a sponge to drink from, “They will give him a drink.” This is the victory, won by the defender who transformed the hearts of these brutes who crucified Jesus, who mocked him and who finally gave Him, not just anything to drink but their own drink from their own sponge! As that is how they drank back then, from a sponge. Jesus then said, “Father my soul is in your hands…!”

The defender did her job! She did not stand stock still doing nothing next to the body of Jesus.

This is how I ‘see’ things. He becomes the shepherd of those who crucified him. Mary is there with Jesus. She is the link, she weaves them together.

Without the defender they would not have given him a drink, without the defender he would have stopped at “Why, why did you abandon me!” but the Defender came, she supported and accompanied him, he is not alone and so he says, “Father, my life is in your hands!” Because the defender is holding him up, and he feels the breath of his mother on his legs, at his side. She is there!

A defender is the person who is called by the accused plaintiff. Mary came, she helped him. If she had not, Jesus would not have been able to place his life into the hands of the Father. He truly felt the presence of the Father because the Defender was there with him.

She became the incarnation paternal will. That is why he bowed his head and blew his breath onto Mary. That enabled him to place his life in the hands of the Father. Mary, the weaver, held strong! And this resulted in the shouts of the guards, “He was the one, he was a Son of God!” The soldiers gave Jesus a drink and he cried “Tetelestai” because he noticed and received the welcome the Father was giving him. “That is it, I have arrived! Father give me the glory that I may have for all eternity! I want them to be with me, where I am! ‘Tetelestai’” Goal accomplished! It is done! The defender has achieved her task!
